This is the first time that I have ever known my kid-free friends to want a nappy changing bag. The Mamas & Papas Liberty Parker Tote is so show-stoppingly gorgeous that a couple of friends at a recent picnic noticed my new bag and asked where it was from. They had absolutely no idea that it was designed to carry nappies, bottles and bum wipes.
Once in a (very long) while there is a crossover in taste where my friends without kids love something that is made for people with kids. For example, nipple cream which is a secret beauty trick for any lady who wants to keep her lips moist, eyebrows in place and cuticles soft.
Another example is the Mamas & Papas Liberty Parker Tote.
I recently shared with you that Mamas & Papas and Liberty London have joined forces to bring us limited edition range of baby wear and accessories in the iconic Liberty prints. My most coveted piece from the Mamas & Papas x Liberty collaboration is the Liberty Parker Tote because it looks like an everyday bag but is so much more because it has compartments to hold bottles, wipes and odds and ends. It also comes with a matching change mat and bottle warmer.
What also appeals to me about the Liberty Parker Tote is that Liberty Hera Peacock fabric is a bold monochrome print (and therefore unisex) which gives it longevity to if you plan on having a few kids and is fabulously fashion-forward.
The Liberty Parker Tote is made of thick cotton fabric that is easy to wipe clean. The bag is really well finished – with brown trimming, strong handles and a removable strap to carry it over your shoulder or across the handle bars of your buggy. The lining is in the same peacock fabric but in a much more toned down white and light grey.
The hotly anticipated Liberty London x Mamas & Papas collaboration will launch September 2015. The Liberty Parker Tote will retail for £119.
