Kenzo and Childrensalon are about to launch a capsule collection for the trendy kid who likes an urban twist.
Kenzo, a Paris-based clothing brand with a strong Asian/Japanese influence, is collaborating with Childrensalon to launch an exclusive collection for tots.
You can expect to see a metallic tiger print on a few of the girls’ piece which is sure to sell out. For the boys they have a matching sweatpants and t-shirt combo in navy that has a leather or wet-look. Not sure how breathable it is but it looks über cool nonetheless.
I’ve already spotted my favourite pieces and wouldn’t think twice about dressing my girls in matching metallic tiger-print shirts and skirts… (she says as she swoons).
You will also find matching boys and girls Kenzo sweatshirts in blue and pink, respectively. The sweatshirts have the Kenzo logo emblazoned across the front as well as the brand’s familiar “animated popcorn”.
They say that the new range of kids clothing will be ‘blending metallics, vivid colours and the iconic tiger print,’ and ‘the collection takes inspiration from the Japanese fictional heroine, Sailor Moon.’
The 6-piece range will be available in sizes 4-16 years old. Boys have a choice of a T-shirt, track suit bottoms and a sweatshirt. Girls can choose from a T-shirt, skater skirt and a sweatshirt matching the boys’ design but in pink instead of blue.
The capsule collection of children’s wear is named “Limited Edition by Kenzo” and is available from Childrensalon from 10 September 2016.
You can expect to find the Kenzo Childrensalon A/W 16 collection online at Childrensalon.com from 10 September 2016.
