Christmas Gift ideas for men
Today’s treat is for the men in our lives and comes from John Lewis. I have some Christmas gift ideas for men and you will find them all at John Lewis. The most challenging part of Christmas gift shopping is finding something for the men in my life. Men tend to be practical, to our annoyance, and if they need something or want something they will just go out and buy it. They seldom lust after something (like that new handbag) or collect things of importance (like handbags) which leaves us with very few clues as to what to get them for Christmas.
If, like me, you find it a challenge to find a gift for your husband/father/brother/friend then look no further because John Lewis has something that they will fancy. Check out a few clothing items I’ve found:
The King of cool is Steve McQueen and the Barbour Steve McQueen Collection is just that.
ONE: Barbour Steve McQueen Collection Olive Thunder Jacket: which is a biker-style jacket with a wool mix lining. It pays homage to the 1964 International Six Day Trials motorcycle race in which Steve and his team wore Barbour jackets.
TWO: Barbour Steve McQueen Collection Redfern Denim Shirt: Barbour is known for its jackets but this stonewashed, Western-style denim shirt just eptiomises cool.
THREE: Barbour Steve McQueen Collection Navy Hurricane Jacket: which is a wax jacket with a fleeced lining and fold-down collar.
The Christmas Jumper
Everyone has to have a Christmas jumper. Once a year you wear it with the joy of a kid on Chistmas. It adds to the festive cheer and I have my top picks right here.
ONE: Lyle & Scott Shawl Collar Cardigan: For those who prefer a cardi and this one has a pop of colour.
TWO: Ralph Lauren Blue Point Jumper: a crew neck cotton jumper that looks super comfy.
THREE: John Lewis Save the Children Jumper: For those who dare to go bold and £25 from this jumper goes to charity.
The night before Christmas PJs
Technically, he would wear this gift the night after Christmas as he would only open his gift in Christmas but who’s worried about the semantics. Take a look at my top picks:
ONE: John Lewis striped onesie: For the kid who never grew up.
TWO: Bjorn Borg Long Johns: What’s not to love about these sketchbook long johns?
THREE: Hugo Boss Kimono Robe: This soft, pure cotton kimono-style robe is perfect for the man who loves comfort.
So there you have it. Which are your favourites for the men in you family?
