The annual summer event to mark in your calendars, Chestertons Polo in the Park, is around the corner and will run from 3 to 5 June 2016. So slip on your wedges and bring the family for a day out of food, fun and polo.
Kicking off on Friday 3 June with an England International Match. Already sold-out Ladies Day on Saturday 4 June sees the fashion-savvy sipping champagne whilst taking in the fast paced polo. On Sunday 5 June its Finals Day where the victorious lift the trophy in front of excited spectators.
What you can expect this year
This year Chestertons Polo in the Park sees the début of The Great Polo Food Festival will bring you delicious bites from some of London’s top restaurants and famous street food vendors.
If you’ve been before you will also recognise two of my favourite destinations at this event – the Mahiki Bar to the Champagne Lanson Garden.
And once you are fed and watered you can take a stroll around the luxury shopping village that last year stocked everything from coveted sunglasses to Argentinian polo belts.
And what about the kids?
Party planners and entertainment extraordinaire Sharky and George are back this year with even more games and fun for kids.
Each day they will host Little Hooves Club in partnership with Eddie Catz. It will be a fun zone for kids that includes a bouncy castle, face painting and craft area.
Finals day (Sunday 5 June) is Family Day at Chestertons Polo in the Park. Sharky and George will host a jam-packed family Olympics event from 11am to 1.30pm. Expect mega sack races, rocket balloon javelin, 100-a-side tug of war and a really popular even from last year… the ‘pitch invasion’, but with a twist.
Tickets for the event start from just £10 and can be purchased from Ticketmaster.
